Job Title: Canada Counselor

Experience Required: 1–3 Years in Overseas Education Counseling (Canada)
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized counseling to students about studying in Canada for diploma, UG, and PG programs.

Evaluate student profiles and assist in shortlisting suitable programs and institutions across Canada.

Guide students through the entire admission process — from applications to documentation, SOP/LOR support, and interview preparation.

Provide detailed information on tuition fees, scholarships, cost of living, and part-time work opportunities in Canada.

Assist with student visa processes including SOP review, GIC, medical, and biometrics guidance.

Maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the process.

Coordinate with Canadian institution representatives and stay updated on admission policies and deadlines.

Use CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and conversion reports.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any stream.

1–3 years of experience in Canadian education counseling.

Strong knowledge of public and private colleges/universities in Canada.

Familiar with SDS and Non-SDS visa categories, and IRCC guidelines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Basic proficiency in MS Office and student management tools (CRM/ERP).
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of top Canadian institutions (e.g., Humber, Seneca, Sheridan, Conestoga, etc.).

Understanding of English proficiency requirements (IELTS, PTE, Duolingo).

Experience handling multiple intakes (Jan/May/Sept).

Participation in Canadian university fairs or webinars.
