Job Title: Country Manager – Australia & New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and manage the counseling and admissions team handling Australia and New Zealand applications.

Oversee the complete student journey from counseling, documentation, and application to visa filing.

Develop and implement country-specific strategies to increase student applications and conversions.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission procedures, visa policies (GTE, SOPs), university intakes, and scholarship opportunities.

Build and strengthen relationships with university/college representatives in Australia and New Zealand.

Represent the company at education fairs, webinars, and institutional meetings.

Ensure accurate reporting of leads, applications, offers, and visa outcomes using CRM tools.

Collaborate with the digital marketing and telecalling team to ensure aligned lead generation and nurturing.

Handle escalations and guide students or counselors in complex cases, refusals, or reapplications.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in overseas education counseling, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

In-depth knowledge of Australia and New Zealand education systems, GTE requirements, and PR pathways.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience with CRM systems, documentation processes, and student handling.

Results-oriented mindset with proven team and performance management capabilities.
Preferred Skills:

Existing network with Australian/NZ universities and agents.

Experience in visa SOP guidance, refusal handling, and complex application cases.

Ability to conduct training sessions for junior counselors.
