Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to implement technical SEO strategies.

• Optimize website structure, code, and content for maximum indexing, crawlability, and ranking performance.

• Work with development team to resolve technical issues like duplicate content, crawl errors, broken links, and mobile responsiveness.

• Implement schema markup (structured data), canonical tags, hreflang tags, robots.txt, and sitemaps.

• Conduct regular SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, etc.

• Improve website loading speed through techniques such as image optimization, lazy loading, and code minification.

• Ensure proper internal linking, URL structuring, and page hierarchy for user and bot accessibility.

• Stay updated with the latest algorithm changes and search engine updates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in SEO and web development.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP/WordPress.

• Strong understanding of Core Web Vitals, Google PageSpeed Insights, and technical SEO elements.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and basic database structures.

• Ability to work with Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with WordPress hooks, custom theme development, and plugin customization.

• Knowledge of web accessibility and UX principles.

• Experience working in an agency or multi-website environment.

• Familiarity with Git or version control tools.
